When I’m reading a book That captures my attention It is not hard to turn the page Because what’s next Is surely to engage The words on the page say so
When I am leaving a relationship A job or position or person It is hard to turn the page Because what’s next Is blank with no words And that takes courage
Life offers us many opportunities To turn the page from now to next Grief and excitement mix together Sometimes overwhelmingly so Not every page is followed By another with words that flow

I'm planning to write my granddaughter today, and I am going to include a copy of this poem. She graduated from college this spring and she has a hard time making transitions. I think she will appreciate the wisdom of your words.
